Gypsy Red wedding in Kauai

FAQ’s

Are you June Cochran the 1960’s Playboy Playmate of the year?
No, I’m not. I’m sorry if you Googled my name. If you haven’t done so, you’re probably about to. You might want to make sure small children are not in the immediate area.

What’s your style?
My style is a balance of photojournalism and fine art, and I thrive in non-traditional creative settings.

What’s your emphasis?
I emphasize candid special moments as opposed to staged shots. Additionally, I’m a relaxing, fun and enjoyable presence on your wedding day.

Do I receive all image files?
Yes! All images are delivered in an online gallery where you and your family and friends will have access to download all the high resolution enhanced image files.

How many weddings do you shoot a year?
Beginning 2017, I will be shooting a limited number of weddings per year.

How do I move forward to book with you?
In order to reserve your date, a Skype consultation, 50% of the collection total, and a signed Photography Agreement are needed.

Do you have insurance?
Absolutely.

Do you offer albums and prints?
Absolutely 100%! I believe in getting images off our devices and into something beautiful, precious and tangible.

In a day and age of thousands and thousands of photographers, what sets you apart?
I am purposeful in the images I shoot. Capturing emotions, relying on what I call intelligent design, authentic storytelling and high quality post-processing of these images…better explained by viewing my images. Secondly, my formal education in photography. You may notice that most “professional photographers” have no formal training, and in this digital and social media era, it can be difficult to know who really knows what they’re doing, how they execute their techniques and why they choose their methods, if at all. I’ve been working as a professional photographer for a decade, and as a professional photo editor from 2006-2009. Lastly, but certainly not least, I’ve known since a young age that I was born with a second sense to help people feel comfortable in front of my camera. I know that’s weird to write about myself because I’m not claiming to have special magical powers. However, I do know that if you spoke with any of my clients, they’d mention how much fun we all had and how instantly comfortable they felt with me. I believe it’s one of the biggest reasons why, when you look through my galleries, you feel like you were there, and like you personally know the couple. It’s something that transcends lines and colors in a rectangle.
